Established Guangzhou Colornow Cosmetic Co., Ltd as an OEM and ODM manufacturer. And launched the first self-owned brand CYNOS one year later.

Where the Legend Begins

Colornow was not born—it was envisioned. Its Chinese name draws poetic power from the verses of Confucius, symbolizing wisdom and heritage. Its English name, ColorNow, captures a spirit of vitality—to live boldly, brilliantly, and in the now. 


The iconic “CN” logo——was designed by the two visionary founders, Mr. Frank Fang and Mr. Ford Fang. It was never just a logo. It was a symbol: of ambition, of flight, of a dream determined to take off.


In the late 1990s, before Colornow came into existence, Frank Fang laid the foundation. He built China’s largest supplier of hair dye raw materials, commanding over 70% of the market.


But Frank wasn’t finished. In 2002, he and his younger brother Ford took a leap of faith. They co-founded Colornow, determined not just to supply the industry—but to transform it. Within just five years, their signature product—Colornow Hair Color Cream—exploded across the market, selling over 20 million tubes and capturing 20% of China’s entire professional hair color sector.
